Eyes in BARCELONA, SPAIN

Well, not exactly the Eyes of Picasso, but a face with Eyes all the same. This mural was painted on Baixada De Viladecols (street), located in the "Gotico" section of Barcelona. And Picasso's Guernica images have been worked into the face.

The wall surrounding the mural is part of a wall that remains from the Roman Empire of roughly 1000 years ago.

This is also the street of former San Diegans and artists Robert and Monica Burt's very hip Art Gallery, Base Elements. Notice also the stencil next to the mural, of "Obey," another former San Diegan Shepard Fairey's Big Brother inspired creation from several years back.
